EduBirdie is a homework support service, providing tutors to help students with assignments they are struggling with. It is a paid service, with a variety of online tutors, available 24/7 to assist with whatever a student might need, whether it’s how to take notes or how to write an essay.

challenges

  • EduBirdie was having challenges onboarding new students to their site to pay for their tutoring services
  • There was some understanding of where users were dropping off, but they required a more in-depth look to understand the user journey and connect that data to the bounce rates
  • There was also a need to develop tone of voice documentation to ensure that the whole site and all marketing materials has consistent messaging.

solutions

  • First, we performed a website audit, to understand the data that the company already had and to see what issues might exists based on UX best practices
  • Once the audit was completed, we provided the client with  thorough documentation outlining where there are issues and suggestions for how to make improvements
  • Tone of voice documentation was developed, to ensure consistent messaging across the site
  • Once the audit and tone of voice document were complete, we updated all copy on the site and improved some of the designs to ensure an increase in conversions
